Malaysian TikTok star and multi-million-dollar businessman Mr. Jayamurugan Mariyapan, widely known by his stage name Kende JDT, will make his acting debut in the title role of Kende: Unchained (Kende and Jia), a multilingual Indian western action thriller directed by international director-producer duo Ajeev Waheed and James C.

The Story
Kende: Unchained draws loose inspiration from the outlaw-couple mythology of Bonnie and Clyde, while reworking the tragic-romantic archetype of Devdas into a hardened, alcoholic outlaw named Kende. The film follows Kende and Jenna’s character — a woman brutalized by a history of exploitation — as they forge a volatile, violent alliance forged in survival.
When Jenna is murdered by corrupt authorities, Kende is pushed into a scorched-earth war of revenge against the officers responsible and the ruthless commanding officer hunting him down.
The narrative escalates through a series of brutal set pieces: a rampage that plunges Kende into a deadly cat-and-mouse pursuit with the law; a violent prison break staged to rescue Jenna after she is tortured in custody; and a climactic final stand, in which Kende — down to a small, loyal core that includes fellow gang member Raj — confronts old family grief before setting a trap for the pursuing task force and launching an explosive assault to eliminate the officers responsible for the tragedy that started it all.
A Bet on Authenticity
